Bill Betteridge

Candidate for Missouri House District 48

Bill a fifth-generation resident of Cooper Country and resides on his family farm that was purchased by his great grandfather in 1903. Bill spent 36 years in Missouri public schools as teacher, coach, athletic director, and administrator.

He has been involved in production agriculture for over 50 years, exhibited registered Shorthorn cattle at local, state, and national shows. Bill was honored by the Missouri State Fair in 1996 when the Fair dedicated the beef show to his family. Bill was also honored by Cooper County Soil and Conservation as the 2019 Soil and Conservation Farmer of the year.

Bill has served on the Missouri Shorthorn Association Board of Directors, Cooper County Ambulance Board, and CoMo Connect Board of Directors.

Rural Infrastructure Investment

Increase state funding for rural infrastructure investment and increase access to affordable, high-speed rural broadband.

Rural Healthcare Access

Increase rural healthcare by expanding medicaid and bringing our federal tax dollars back home to our rural hospitals.

Local Agriculture and Small Businesses

Promote Missouri agriculture products and suppliers and strengthen our local supply chain and local small businesses.

Public School Funding

Improve rural education by increasing state-level investment in public school funding and fully funding public schools.
